How usage-based billing works
KoberTag bills by usage, not by the number of files you upload or analyses you run. Here's how it works in plain terms.
Your monthly fee includes a set amount of AI usage. If your work uses more before the month resets, you pay only for the amount that goes over, up to a safety cap. Two clocks, one price: the calendar and your usage, whichever you reach first.

New analyses pause. Your data and files stay fully accessible.
What counts as usage
Usage is measured by the AI processing cost of your work: PDF extraction, plan comparison, and photo input. The KoberTag chat assistant is not metered, so you can use it as much as you want without affecting your bill.
Your included allowance
Every plan comes with a monthly usage allowance. Your $29/month subscription includes $29 of analysis usage. Your $69/month includes $69, and $149/month includes $149. If your usage stays within the allowance, your bill is your subscription, nothing more.
What happens beyond the allowance
If you exceed your allowance, KoberTag keeps working, and you don't get blocked mid-quote. You pay only for the extra usage you consume on your next invoice.
Maximum monthly bill
To protect you from surprise bills, each plan has a maximum monthly cost. Individual caps at $39, Pro at $84, Scale at $174. If you reach that cap, new analyses pause until you pay or upgrade. Your existing data and files remain fully accessible.
Usage rates across tiers
Higher tiers get better usage rates. Scale customers get the best usage rates at scale. This means as your volume grows, upgrading pays for itself.

Can I try KoberTag before subscribing?
Yes. Your free trial includes 10 analyses, no credit card required. It's limited by analysis count, not by time, so you get to try KoberTag with real work before committing to a subscription.
What happens if I exceed my included usage?
You keep working. KoberTag never blocks you mid-quote. Extra usage beyond your allowance is billed on your next invoice for the usage you consume, up to your plan's maximum monthly cap.
What's the maximum I could pay per month?
Your maximum monthly bill is capped by your plan: $39 for Individual, $84 for Pro, $174 for Scale. Beyond that cap, new analyses pause until you pay or upgrade. Your existing data stays fully accessible.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no dark patterns.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. Billing runs on Stripe.
Is my data safe if I cancel?
Yes. You retain access to your data for 30 days after cancellation to export what you need. After 30 days, we retain data per our privacy policy. See /privacy for full details.
Do you offer annual plans?
Not yet. All plans are currently monthly. We're exploring annual options for future release.
Is there a free tier?
There's a free trial to get you started: 10 analyses, email only, no credit card. Once you've used them, subscribing to Individual, Pro, or Scale is required to continue.
