The story behind KoberTag
Agustin R. Barros
KoberTag was built by someone with a business background and a technical mindset. Years of working close to operations across industries, from cabinetry and millwork to other trades that quote from drawings and reports, made a pattern visible. The same friction repeats everywhere: hours lost translating drawings into estimates or reports, revisions restarting the process, small errors costing real time and real money.
The pattern isn't new. What's new is that it's now solvable properly. Software has caught up to the problem. What was missing was a tool built with the discipline the problem deserves: consistent instead of guessing, respectful of how professionals actually work, and honest about what it does and doesn't do.
I built KoberTag around that idea. Not a demo, not a prototype, but a product that ships. Multi-tenant architecture, a reliable pricing engine, visual comparison with heat map, integrated chat assistant, layered security. It's live at app.drawiq.io, taking real work.
